| Wallace Performance commenced trading
1st of April 1999 with Gavin Wallace operating on his own supplying
high performance parts to the local public and local trade
garages. Throughout the next 4 years this had expanded to supply
most of the UK with performance parts through the initial website
that was designed. Mainly a Vauxhall specialist at this time,
parts were researched and developed on various test cars and
Wallace Performance soon established themselves as one of the
leading Vauxhall tuners in the UK. |

Throughout this time Gavin Wallace worked together with his good
friend Russell Paton whose knowledge for performance vehicles was
second to none. This strong working relationship continued when
Wallace Performance moved into their first industrial premise in
Bridge of Don, Aberdeen where much larger scale work was carried
out. A 4wd Dastek Dynamometer (Rolling Road) soon followed along
with further tuning/diagnostic equipment to enhance the work that
Wallace Performance could tackle. During this time Wallace Performance
gradually moved further and further away from Vauxhall tuning and
onto the Japanese market of tuning and primarily Mitsubishi Lancer
EVO models. This has now grown remarkably and Wallace Performance
can now say that they are now the leading Mitsubishi tuner in the
whole of the North Scotland.
On 1st of October Wallace Performance
changed hands with Wallace Performance Ltd now being formed. Gavin
Wallace took up developing
his interest in large engines but instead of cars turned to Jet
aircraft and has now moved on to continue his career as an Airline
Pilot. The new directors (Kevin, Ian and Michael Mahoney) continue
to drive Wallace Performance on with the help of Russell Paton
stepping up to Manager. New equipment has seen Wallace Performance
become a Longlife and Wolfrace distributor to provide much better
quality systems than previous manufacturer and with new TIG welding
training to be carried out, the quality of our exhaust systems
will be 1st class. This is something that other exhaust builders
cannot achieve.
Wallace Performance will continue to drive forward
using the latest advancement in technology along with continuing
to expand the size
of Wallace Performance with a view to setting up further stations
throughout Scotland and UK. |
